I have a good feeling about this

May 8, 2008 by gadrin

Sorry for the time without posts, i been rather busy outside of WoW

Anyways, I got a invite into a H SP guild run that had already completed it, so i could turn in the quest for the champion of the naaru title. I only need Mag now

The guild just recruited a BT/MT hyjal geared hunter ! that’s awesome. It’s more competition, since now we are 4 raiding hunters, but his experience will surely come in handy to clear ssc/tk fast. Our first attempt at TK will be this saturday. And no, i wont be there. Traveling around this weeked, so no WoW for me.

Good luck GUK !

Raiding Weekend

May 3, 2008 by gadrin

So, I’m stll working on the Naaru title quests. Yesterday, I managed to complete the Heroic Arc part, so I just have Gruuls, Nightbane, and Magtheridon left.

We cleared kara yesterday except for nightbane and netherspite, where we wiped a couple of times and called it a night.

Today, I’m doing Gruuls, and if we clear it, we are going to Mag’s. After that, we are completing last night karazhan.

With luck, I should have it completed by today. With luck.

Update: Gruul down. Sadly, I couldn’t make the mags group. Hope to be able to kill nightbane in the  afternoon

Well, I didn’t have too much time to post today. Yes, I completed the Heroic Shadowlabs part of the quest, so I just need nightbane, gruuls, magtheridon, and heroic arcatraz. gonna try to get arcatraz before karazhan tomorrow, although it doesn’t look good, no one was in LFG today

Well, see ya  tomorrow with a larger post ! (hopefully)

Week of the PuG

April 30, 2008 by gadrin

As I mentioned in the last post, I’m trying to complete the quests for the Champion of the Naaru title.

To complete it, you need to:
Complete Heroic Shattered Halls in under 80 minutes
Complete  Heroic Steamvaults
Kill first boss in Heroic Sethekk Halls
Complete  Heroic Arcatraz with the gnome mage alive
Kill Magtheridon
Kill Nightbane
Kill Gruul

I have completed the ones in green this week, all with PuGs. Really amazing. Only dungeon we didn’t clear was Heroic Sethekk, because we couldn’t down the last boss. I’m expecting to get Arc and SL done tomorrow/friday, and probably Bane and gruuls on the weekend if everything goes alright. Saturday we try to get magtheridon, so I’m gonna try to have his quest ready for it.

Until next post !

Title Mania

April 29, 2008 by gadrin

Last week my server finally opened up phase 4 in Quel’Danas, so I bought the “Of the Shattered Sun” title for a moderate amount of 1000 gold.

Was it worth it ? Well, 10 titles are avaible in WoW.  Let’s take a look:

Pve Titles:

  • Scarab Lord
  • Champion of the Naaru
  • Hand of A’dal
  • of the Shattered Sun

PvP Titles:

  • Justicar/Conqueror
  • Merciless Gladiator
  • Gladiator
  • Duelist
  • Rival
  • Challenger

Let’s take the PvP titles out of the list, because to say in in 4 words: I suck at PvP. I just don’t like it.

However, if you look at the PvE ones, you will see that Scarab Lord isn’t avaible anymore (all servers have the AQ doors open) . So, i have aprox. 33% of the PvE titles avaible. So, this week im gonna work on getting the quests for the Atunnement to SSC and TK ( to get the Champion of the Naaru one)

We will see how that goes

BW is Born !

Ok, the first post. Let’s make sure I cause a good impression :)

I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since September of 2005. I lived in South America back then, and man, was it hard to get a copy of the game there. Not only you couldn’t get it at common stores, you would get ripped off if you tried to get it on the internet! So, after aprox. 1 year of it’s release, i managed to get a copy. Installed it right away on my not-so-good P.C., and started playing right away.

My first character was a Human Paladin, and i loved the game at first sight. Seems so long away, there wasn’t a Zul’Gurub back then! I remember those days. Well, I leveled my paladin to level 16, and got bored of him. Lack of DPS… not for me. After that, I experimented with various races and clases, and finally decided for an Undead Warlock. Now, with DPs, DoTs, and Pets, I was having fun. He got leveled to level 48, and then I got stuck with some zones and quests, and decided to leave him. Then came the time where I rolled a hunter. Troll hunter by the way. Pets tanking for me, massive dps, (easy mode as some say), was for me. Yep, that was fun. He got on a quick leveling train, and reached 70 in 1 month (was created the same day that the expansion came out). Outlands was cool, easy XP, easy gold, easy good items. I took him trough the instances and dungeons, getting 3 out of 5 of his heroic keys, and taking him to Kara.

3 weeks of Kara and my group gets canceled. Now that was sad. Well, that made my decision easier. I was uneasy about Horde or Alliance, knowing that in the Horde I had a Level 70 hunter, ready to raid, But in the alliance, I would be received with open arms by some friends, and would make a good looking Night Elf Hunter instead of an ugly troll :P (No offense trolls, you guys rock). So, I decided to roll a Night Elf Hunter. The name: Gadrin.

Now, inspired by some of the greatest hunters ever (which happen to have blogs *wink*BRK*) i decided to start my own blog, to tell the community of the world… of warcraft my adventures, and to share my knowledge, learnt by hours and hours of reading and in-game practice

Now, lets quit the chit-chat. Press auto-shot, Pet Attack, and Bestial Wrath !!!
